Fall 2017 Academic Advising via R’Web ( begins for all students on Tuesday, May 16.

 - With online academic advising, your academic department will communicate with you directly within R’Web Holds regarding any requirements to be completed before you enroll.  Common advising requirements include 1) scheduling an appointment with your professional or faculty advisor, 2) submitting a course plan for the selected term, or 3) providing your advisor with a statement about your plans or personal goals for the quarter.

 - You can find more information on the Advising Requirements page ( of the Registrar’s website.  Be sure to check your Holds in R’Web and resolve them so you are able to register at your assigned time.

 - Once all requirements have been cleared, you can proceed to enroll in classes beginning the date and time of your assigned time ticket.

Fall 2017 Enrollment for continuing students will take place May 22 – June 23, 2017.  You can view your scheduled registration time ticket in R’Web beginning Tuesday, May 16.

- Students can build plans prior to their assigned time ticket using the Term Plan in R’Web. Find detailed instructions at

- Instructions for enrolling using R’Web are available on the Registrar’s website at

- On September 6th, the second pass of registration begins when the 17 unit maximum load will be increased.  Time ticket assignment will mirror that of Continuing Student registration priority.

- Once your second appointment opens, you will have access to make registration changes until October 13, 2017.   You can find a complete list of dates in the Academic Calendar (

- Remember, if you have any holds on your account due to advisement, payment, or other requirements, you will not be able to register until you have resolved these issues and the department has removed the hold from your account.

Statement of Account: The Office of Student Business Services will notify you via R’Mail in mid-August when your statement of account, showing applicable fees and tuition, becomes available on R’Web.

 - Students whose fees will be paid in full or in part by financial aid must enroll in the appropriate number of units by 5pm on September 15, 2017 in order for aid to be disbursed.

 - Students who enroll and do not pay fees and applicable tuition by September 15, 2017 will be dropped from their classes and assessed a $50 late payment fee.

  - The final deadline for payment is October 20, 2017.  If full payment is not received by this date students will lose their status and be dropped from all courses.

Registration Tips

  1. Enroll in courses using R’Web during your Ticket Time.
  2. Use the Schedule of Classes ( to find open courses and course record numbers (CRN).
  3. Check the approved Breadth worksheet ( and the degree audit on R’Web to determine what courses to enroll in next quarter.
  4. Confirm that you have satisfied all prerequisites for the courses in which you plan to enroll.  Prerequisites are listed in the UCR General Catalog (
  5. After you have enrolled, check your schedule on R’Web and your R’Web email regularly for any changes to the courses you have registered for.

  1. ENGL 001C alternatives offered in the 2017 Fall Quarter will be listed in your advisors weekly emails once the list is generated.  Look for it closer to the end of May.
