      Weekly Highlights

      • You can add and drop classes on R’Web until Friday, October 8 at approximately 11:59 pm
      • Use MyForms to late add, drop, or S/NC beginning Monday, October 11 at approximately 12:01 am (maybe sooner)
      • There are rules for extended deadlines to withdraw. Continuing students, the deadlines for S/NC and drops are back to “normal”.
      • The Academic Resource Center is the best stop for academic support
      • I am your first stop for all kinds of support including emotional, financial, or I don’t know what kind of help I need but I know I need help.

      Details

      • You can add and drop classes on R’Web until Friday, October 8.
        • Be sure there is a true seat in the course before dropping
        • Check for linked sections and waitlists first
        • If there is one seat, the likelihood is that one seat is not really there
        • Waitlists are not guarantees--have a back-up plan.
        • If you add a class late or waitlisted without attending, you missed a week of class.
        • Find out what you missed by contacting the instructor.
        • It might take two business days for information to show in Canvass
        • Missing one week in a ten week quarter is detrimental to your GPA
      • Use MyForms to late add, drop, or S/NC beginning Monday, October 11.
        • Once R’Web closes, use an electronic form to make changes
        • See this page for enrollment adjustment types and processes
        • See this page for deadline dates
        • Send email, come to drop-ins, or schedule an appointment if you your head just spun
      • There are deadlines to drop, withdraw, or change the grade basis of a course
        • October 8 at 11:59 pm is your deadline to drop a course on R’Web. I recommend you do it by 11:59 am.
        • Waitlists also close at this time.
        • If you are still on a waitlist, find another class and start attending.
        • It is unlikely you will get a seat in the wait listed course
        • November 19 at 11:59 am is your deadline to withdraw or change the grading basis
        • I will send details WAAAAAYYYYY before we get there
        • This is just an early notice
      • The Academic Resource Center is the best stop for academic support.
        • I understand that you never needed “help”
        • I understand that you do not like to ask for “help”
        • I understand that you feel some kinda way about getting ‘help”
        • Get over it.  40 hours of week of studying is real.
        • If you can show me a time management plan with 40 hours of studying
        • And you are following the plan with no deviations
        • And you earn straight A’s without a curve on all your midterms, then forget ‘help’.  Otherwise…
        • Supplemental Instruction
        • Tutoring
        • Workshops
        • Peer Mentoring
        • Reading and Writing

      You are welcome.

      • I am your first stop for all kinds of HELP including emotional, financial, or I don’t know what kind of help I need but I know I need help.
        • This  is how we work together: Advisor Advisee Partnership Agreement_final.pdf (ucr.edu)
        • Email is the best and fastest way to reach me
        • Find my remote drop-in availability here
        • Zoom appointment? Send an email and include 3 days/times you’re available
        • I know you want to see my loveliness in person.  Perhaps in a future quarter.
        • For fall, I am available remotely for your advising pleasure.
